28 km of motorway then the run into Cannes: 34 minutes in normal conditions, fare locked from €84. The real question is not the distance — it is the Croisette in festival season.
The price is set at booking and never changes, whatever the traffic.

The A8 covers most of the 28 km, exit 42 for Cannes and Mougins. For an address further west, exit 40 serves Mandelieu-la-Napoule without crossing the centre. In summer and during trade shows the coastal N98 acts as a relief valve but adds noticeably to the journey. Allow 34 minutes off-peak, more in the late afternoon.
During the Film Festival in mid-May, MIPIM in March and the Régates Royales in late September, traffic on the Croisette is filtered and the approaches to the Palais des Festivals are controlled. Seafront hotels keep an access, but it runs from the rear or from an imposed drop-off point. A chauffeur who drives here all year knows which one, and at what hour.
Palais des Festivals, Croisette hotels, Port Canto and the Vieux Port, the SNCF station, Le Suquet and its steep lanes, the villas of La Californie. Antibes and its harbour are fifteen minutes on along the shore. For Le Suquet the drop-off is as close as the street allows: the upper quarter is pedestrian.
The Zou! Express 81 line links the airport to Cannes SNCF station by motorway, and regional trains serve Cannes from Nice-Ville. Both leave you at the station, away from the seafront hotels, cases in hand. A private chauffeur takes you to the exact address, at a price agreed before departure.
Three ways: the Zou! Express 81 bus to Cannes SNCF station via the motorway, a regional train from Nice-Ville, or a private chauffeur who meets you at the terminal and drives you to your address. Around 34 minutes by road.
About 34 minutes for 28 km via the A8. Allow extra in the late afternoon and during major events, when entering the city slows markedly.
Traffic on the Croisette is filtered and the approaches to the Palais are controlled. Seafront hotels remain reachable, often from the rear or from an imposed drop-off point. Give the exact hotel when booking.
